The Fragrance Shop recently unveiled its new & exclusive fragrance collection: IKON
A series of six Eau De Parfums, developed with a simple yet elegant and premium mindset. Manufactured locally, all fragrances are formulated with natural, vegan and responsibly sourced key ingredients and materials and are marketed as gender neutral / unisex.
The one that drew my attention more and chose to review is 511, a resinous indulgent fragrance, warm and creamy.
Notes:
Top: Cardamom, Carrot, Elemi
Middle: Jasmin, Lily Of the Valley, Orris
Base: Dry Amber, Musk, Nagarmotha
Responsibly sourced: Cardamon Oil, Sandalwood Oil
Resinous and citrusy, the fragrance revolves around the lovely elemi resin. It opens bright and with a spicy bite from cardamom before it moves into a powdery floral territory, warmed up by the elemi resin while slowly a mix of dry and creamy wood notes wrap it up like a soft cosy blanket.
It's quite warm and comforting with a woody drydown that makes it perfect for autumn.
The bottle is made from lighter, durable glass, topped with a Manchurian ash wood cap and housed in a modest, yet elegant compostable cardboard box making IKON products recyclable.
