100BON is a new all natural perfume brand that launched in 2017, initially with 10 perfumes. The brand uses 100% natural ingredients in their compositions and they're also vegetal and vegan. The packaging is recyclable and the bottles (10ml and 50ml) are refillable with a 200ml ”refill bottle” which you can buy to top up your favourite scent while keeping the original packaging.
The fragrances are creations by Robertet's master perfumers and each one revolves around 2 main notes that provide the character of the scent. They're fun and playful and if you're looking for an all natural perfume with character keep reading!
Carvi & Jardin de Figuier:
Notes: Mandarin, Fig, Raspberrry, Violet, Jasmine, Rose, Cedarwood, Creamy note
A very sweet summery fig scent. It reminds me the sweet scent of a traditional syrupy fig sweet we make in Greece that's very aromatic. The raspberry gives it a bit of tartness at the beginning but very soon it settles to a creamy sweet skin scent.
Bergamote & Rose Sauvage:
Notes: Verbena, Lemon, Rose, Geranium, Cherry Blossom, Vanilla
A very classic rose to my nose. Enhanced by the geranium that adds a bit of zing to it, it softens to a dusty sweet vanilla scent after a while.
Cèdre & Iris soyeux:
Notes: Orange, Neroli, Cedarwood, Iris, Powdery, Vetiver, Incense, Benzoin
Maybe my favourite, a very fresh iris scent beautifully grounded by earthy vetiver. It becomes a powdery woody scent after an hour that stays surprisingly long on my skin.
Eau de Thé & Gingembre:
Notes: Citronnella, Lemon, Jasmin Sambac, Powdery, Amber wood, Vetiver, Cedarwood
Lovely fresh citrus opening that is followed by a touch of jasmine and an earthy woody drydown.
Davana & Vanille Bourbon:
Notes: Mandarin, Lychee, Plum, Rose, Jasmin Sambac, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Vanilla
A surprising sticky fruity opening (thanks to lychee) that blooms after a while thanks to the jasmine / rose combo and then turns to a boozy vanilla scent, sweet, alcoholic and slightly waxy thanks to the patchouli.
Néroli & Petit Grain Printanier:
Notes: Orange, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange blossom, Neroli, Jasmine, Vanilla, Petit grain
Neroli seems to be a very popular ingredient lately and here we see it in it's simplest form, fresh and vibrant with a lovely bitterness thanks to petit grain. However the scent transforms itself after about half an hour to an utterly sensual indolic jasmine with a hint of gorgeous vanilla sweetness.
