My Perfume of the Week is the very beautiful and summery Fleur Des Fleurs by Une Nuit A Bali that has recently changed its name to Une Nuit Nomade
‘Une Nuit Nomade’ was created to elegantly awaken our desire to roam from continent to continent, in search of fascinating and breathtaking destinations. ‘Une Nuit Nomade’ is also an invitation to a motionless journey where each inch of your skin becomes a new frontier, meant to reveal a new fragrance, a new emotion.
I ordered some samples of Fleur Des Fleurs perfume and the skincare products some time ago and finally this summer I remembered to pack them with me and try them out.
"Flower of Flowers" is an ode to Ylang-Ylang and Jasmine, an intense accord that unfolds in a powdered and subtly wooden elegance.
Top notes are bergamot, saffron and grapefruit; middle notes are ylang-ylang, jasmine, tuberose; base notes are benzoin, sandalwood, vanilla, amber and agarwood (oud).
Inspired by Bali, the island of flowers, the scent is breathtaking and seductive; the white flower blend transports you to warm climates, where the sun and breeze gently caress your skin and the scent of blooming flowers gently tingles your nostrils. It’s a scent perfect for summer vacations or for when you wish you could escape to a hot sandy beach!
The dry oils, shower gel /scrub and body crème carry the same scent and are perfect companions or can be used by themselves. My favourite product of all was the Poudre de Massage, a very fine and delicately scented powder that mattifies the skin and gives it a subtle glow.
I will definitely be getting me some more!
