I landed in Thessaloniki late last Thursday and headed straight to the family home. I woke up the next morning to fabulous warm weather and blue skies and headed downtown to run errands and get some of the local delicacies.
The smell of pastries and pies fills the air and draws you to the shops!
Some serious food shopping followed to stock up on cheese and other delicacies...
... and also some serious Haute Patisserie desserts were bought for the weekend!
The weather was exceptionally good so we headed to have lunch by the sea...
The food was pretty good too!!!
All the flowers and trees were blooming in the countryside...
And just like that the weekend was over and it was time to fly back to London but not before I had one last indulgent meal...
