This week we will be rocking a tropical holiday mood inspired by Fleur des Comores by Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier.
“A deep dive into the volcanic archipelago of Comoros; a fragrance inspired by the beauty of the vegetation and tropical scenery”
The notes are:
Top: Blackcurrant, Passion Fruit, Leaf green
Heart: Vanilla, Jasmine, Orange absolute, Ylang-Ylang
Base: Ambergris, Vetiver, Musk
It opens with a fruity blackcurrant explosion accompanied by sultry passion fruit and surrounded by green vegetation that instantly gives you that tropical holiday feeling. Jasmine and Ylang-Ylang soon make their appearance complementing the composition like the garlands of tropical flowers that you wear around your neck in every island and their aroma wafts around you with every move you make. The base notes add depth and a bit more humidity, greenness and balance to the perfume reminiscing the scent of an evening at a tropical island after a full day at the beach, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun.
It lasts about 3-4 hours on my skin with very good projection. Being part of the L`Invitation au Voyage series of the house, this one is a true invitation to a tropical destination and with the weather getting colder and colder this is something we definitely need and frequently dream about!
