Top: Absinthe, Bergamot, Lemon, Aldehydes & Tarragon
Heart: Lavender, Rose, Jasmine & Verbena
Base: Gaiac Wood, Oppoponax & Patchouli
Momento is powerful, like the memories it wants to evoke. It opens with an overpowering powder note blended with aldehydes and oud, strong and mysterious. The citruses enhance the aldehydes and make them sharper and brighter. This phase lasts quite a while, like a wakeup call trying to draw your memories from the depths of your mind and soul while the flowers slowly appear softening the scent and bringing it closer to the skin where it evolves into a floral dream lingering between sweet lavender and bright rose dancing with the jasmine and verbena, a memory becoming tangible again. After an hour or so the myrrh makes its appearance, strong and sweet and mingles with the patchouli and oud to create an earthy, warm and comfortable scent like a dream come to life, like a memory resurfacing from the depths of time.
